why some people should not be pet owners.

a good friend just adopted a cat from his neighbor. not all that remarkable, but the circumstances of the "adoption" really upset me. the cat had been visiting him for a while, coming in the house and eating occasionally. the owner had a collar on him and when asked about the cat, she would say she didn't see him that much and that he readily roamed the neighborhood.

now i know why.

recently, the house she rented was going to be demolished, so she moved. but before she moved, she simply removed the cat's collar and called it a day. right after she moved, our friend would see the cat crying at the front door of the now-empty house.

she just left him. even took the time to remove all accountability from his little black neck.

thankfully, he now belongs to our friend. and he's not going anywhere. and if he is, the cat goes too. seems like common courtesy, doesn't it?

That's horrible. About the owner leaving the cat, I mean. I hate people like that. Then again, I hate everyone. Haha.

What is wrong with people? The people that live behind me have two puppies that they do not bother with. We have had some brutal rain storms here, and they leave them in the backyard without any shelter. It was raining buckets, lightening, thunder, it was really bad, and these two dogs were terrified. If you could have heard them crying....ugghh. It has happened a couple of times since...and I know the people were home. Why they got these dogs, I will never know.
